Just a new antenna - or not.

Just like some full restorations start by "just taking out the rear seats", changing an antenna can take longer than you might expect.

Won't work this way.

Alright, let's take the wing off.

Just a moment without concentration:
"Darn, wrong side! No antenna ...

... just a rust-hole !"

Unlicenced production ...

... of reverse-engineered parts.

All portholes closed by welding.

( The old parts will be sold on ebay )

Sealing compound and underbody protection is obligatory, ...

...the latter needs to be shaken before usage.(Three-Pack)

Hold it for a moment, we need the jack on the other side....

And below this, there's...

... our antenna. Yeah!

Inside of the wing...

... we discovered a sticker:

Reproduction part from Italy. Now that!

Complaining won't help.

Wraped the car for underbody protection protection ....

Time to penetrate with the cable ...

... into the passenger area of the car.

Sealing tape between fender and body. (Teroson-Tape made us swear)

(Tape from Tuning-Specialist Königseder was better)

Now it's time to bring on the wing, ...

... and mount the antena.

Ready for the radio again.

Well, and almost no parts left.

These can't be really important ones ...
