Plum Harvest

The oval Ford-badge is called "Pflaume" (plum/prune) by the Ford-ians in Germany and Austria. It's not very durable, and will be replaced when looking shabby. We'll show you "how to" - in our typical taunus.at-style. A new badge can be bought on ebay or at your local Ford dealer.

Instruction

It's the chromew layer that comes off: The black plastic in the rear becomes visible.

Never use brute Force!

Get the corresponding tool: The Harvest-O-Plum Tool

That's the proper way to remove the badge.

Clean the spot thoroughly (degrasing) and don't touch again.

Remove the protective foil of the self-adhesive badge.

Don't tremble, and stay horizontal

New Fords - Old Problem

The new "plums" won't be good for 24 years: a colorless Galaxy.

Two more months, and it will look like the one above.

Who makes the "KA" ? Ford? Ain't sayin so, eh?
